A lot of dairy farming happens here in Wisconsin! But when RSK took on the task of helping the Dairy Soil and Water Regeneration project communicate, I learned a little bit aboutn dairy research, and about the dairy industry all across the United States.
Dairy Soil and Water Regeneration is an extensive project, aimed at improving the environmental sustainability of dairy farming. Teams from UC Davis to the University of Vermont (and of course, including UW Madison) are researching reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the industry, improving water quality, maintaining or improving crop yields and more.
